Virtual Linux

I love the Linux operating system, but it can be such a serious pain to install, especially the partitioning of the hard drive. So I thought it might be useful if there was a place you could go to find Linux builds, and info about them, that did not require you to be a rocket scientist to get it running on your machine.

This would normally be the page where I mention something about the build. I can tell you that Virtual Linux is made from the Mandrake build, but I never got it to actually finish booting. I tried it on 4 different computers, and they all failed when they tried to launch the video server. I tried downloading it multiple times, but a corrupt download was not the problem. A message on the web site said he would try to get it with the next Mandrake build, but Mandrake9 is now out, and the Virtual Linux web site is down.

I will leave this page up in case they gets it going, or I find where they moved it to. At this point, it is in the Sourceforge collection, waiting to be reborn. If you know where this build now lives (if it still exists), please send me a message and let me know.
